Your name seems Welsh... I too have bought a cottage in Marvão (I'm Welsh, currently live in Lisbon... butaam about to move to Stockholm to earn the cash to return to live in Marvão). We should keep in contact. I'm already building up a network of contacts around Marvão (if you know a decent builder up there, let me know), and am likely to have friends in need of accommodation until our ruin gets renovated.
